A new study has revealed that looking at the trees from your bedroom window is also very important for health. It even helps reduce unhealthy habits.
Last year, a study revealed that walking in wet places reduces cortisol, a hormone that causes stress and improves mood. Experts had said a few months ago that if the time is spent in the trees at the proper time of the week, it would have good health effects.
In addition, a study has shown that people who spend their childhood in greenery, are less prone to mental and psychiatric disorders than others. That way they can better cope with life’s challenges.
Now in the UK, colleagues at the University of Plymouth say in a research journal called Health and Place that if you look at trees and greenery for some time from the window of your home, you’ll feel better and your health will be better too. It is also helpful to leave alcohol, smoking and fast food.
Dr. Len Martin, who is involved in the research, says that everyone is aware of the benefits of greenery, but our research has added a new angle that staying upbeat can also play a role in getting rid of bad habits.
“This research also shows that there is a deep connection between the environment and humans. That will also help ease the medical problems,” said Dr. Lane.
The study asked 149 people aged 21 to 65 how they were close to nature. They were also asked about bad habits, such as unhealthy eating and drug addiction. Participants in this survey were also asked about trees and vegetation on their home side. Or were asked about the duration of the visit to a spectacular location.
People admitted that going to public gardens or home gardens reduces their addiction and appetite, but surprisingly, those who see greenery in the balcony or window of their home also have a low addiction rate of 25%.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been arrested for addictions, including smoking, drinking, and drinking alcoholic beverages. All of these habits ruin your health, and seeing the greenery reduces it. Therefore, for the first time it has been proved that vegetation can also cause such benefits.
