The deserts of Saudi Arabia are called the land of death. If an unknown person is trapped in these deserts, it becomes very difficult for him to survive. Dozens of people get lost in these deserts every year. Especially in summer, the deserts get hot like fire.
Extreme temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius and dehydration are enough to survive. In Saudi Arabia, a man was trapped in the desert, but with God’s help, the Saudi rescue team saved his life when he was just a few minutes away. According to Saudi media, a local man lost his way in the desert area between Riyadh and Jubail.
After receiving the information, a Rescue team of 7 people was sent to search for him.
After 6 hours search, the man was found half-dead. Khalid Al-Issa, the head of the Rescue team, said that the local youth was in a very bad condition due to fatigue and lack of water. If it had taken a little longer to reach him, his life would not have been saved.
Khalid al-Issa urged people to keep plenty of food and drink/water with them when traveling in the desert and to carry location (search) devices. Otherwise, the risk of them is getting lost and dying increases.
Hamoud al-Ajaleen, a 40-year-old Saudi Zawihi, had been missing for three days and was found dead by police. According to the police, the body of Al-Ajaleen was in a state of prostration. It seems that he was busy worshiping God when he saw his death approaching. He died while prostrating. His car was also parked near the body of Al-Ajaleen. Preliminary investigations revealed that Al-Ajaleen was trapped in the desert due to a broken down vehicle. He died of starvation and thirst.
