A huge march, protesters throw eggs at the Chinese office

Hong Kong: There was another huge march against the government on Sunday in Hong Kong . At the end of March, protesters wearing masks throw eggs at the local office of China. The chaos of the growing uprising over years of China’s rule has not yet been seen. There has been a sporadic violent clash between police and fierce protesters over the past few weeks and many times have been marching. These incidents are considered to be the most serious crisis of Hong Kong in recent years.

These demonstrations first started with a controversial bill. Upon the passage of this bill, the way of extradition of China to any of the accused becomes a way forward. Due to protests, this bill has now been put in cold storage. However, protests have taken a broader form and now demand for democratic reforms, universal suffrage etc. is being sought. Hong Kong was handed back to China in 1997, after which Beijing’s power is seen to be the biggest challenge here. Police have to tear down the tear gas shells and rubber bullets to stop the demonstration.

Since last seven weeks, rallies have been held at the end of the week and today’s rally is also a part of this. Thousands of anti-government protesters participated in this rally.

The police had ordered the demonstrators to use a little way out of normal, but the crowd ignored this decree and began to move towards the department of Chinese representatives, the ‘Office of Legion Office’. After this, thousands of protesters wearing masks blocked the road outside the lien office, imposed barricades and started rooting eggs on a multi-storey building in China’s office. Laser lights were also put on this building.

A 19-year-old protester named Tony said, “We are here to announce that Beijing is violating our official values and judicial procedures.”

Another protester wearing a mask said, “No violent demonstration or riots not happening. There is just cruelty here. We will protect our homeland in any way. We appeal to the government not to take Hong Kong to the brink of ruin.”

The police were not seen outside the Beijing office on Sunday evening, but the protesters felt that the anti-riot officer would respond promptly. Earlier, Anita Poon (35) said that after watching the elderly people participating in the rally at the end of this week, they also decided to join the rally. He said, “When elderly women are coming out of the house, how can we keep watching them on TV? The government has not responded to the voice of the people, so it keeps happening.”
